In Home Evaluation
Before we accept any dog into a training program we do a preliminary evaluation to assess the dog's
temperament, health and problem behaviors so we can establish what programs are best suited for you and
your dog.
The evaluation lasts approximately two hours and is done in your home or at a predetermined location such
as a local park, dog park or your office. At this time you will receive an exact estimate of time and cost for the
training program as well as become familiar with the training equipment we will use.
What does the evaluation consist of?
During the evaluation we will:
- Assess your dog's temperament and observations about it's behavior will be made so that we get a better picture of who he/she really is
- Talk about your dog's daily routine and environment and what affects these things may have on their behavior
- Discuss the reasons for the dog's problem behaviors and create a customized training program to address the specific needs of your dog
- Go over pricing for your personalized training program and explain what your involvement will be during the training process as well as ours.
Once your evaluation is complete you will have everything you need to make an informed decision about your dog's training. You are under no obligation of any kind but should you decide to sign up, we are equipped to enroll you in a program immediately. Since we are a highly personalized service, all appointments will be scheduled at your convenience and around your schedule.
If a program is purchased the day of the evaluation, the evaluation fee ($100.00 for regular service area or $150.00 for our extended service area) is waived. Please note that the evaluation fee is non-refundable if the client signs up at any later time or if the dog is human-aggressive.
Here is what some out our clients said about their evaluation:
"Gabriela changed the way that we interacted with our dog. As a vet, I did lots of research before seeking Gaby's help with training our 'challenged' Bloodhound (contrary to popular belief, vets are not professional trainers). Since then, I've referred many of my clients for training and the response has been overwhelmingly positive." Donna McWilliams DVM, CCRT

"I remember how hopeful my wife and I were after the meeting when she told us that she could teach us the handling tools we needed to help Ramsey..." Eric and Cindy Tuley

"We were very impressed with her when we first contacted her by phone but when she came to our home for an evaluation, we couldn’t believe what she was able to do with our dogs. We knew immediately that she could help us..." Adeline Mason
