Gaby Urevitch

Complete K-9 Academy, Inc. and Trinity Dog Training are owned and operated by Gabriela Urevitch.

Gabriela began working with dogs first in her native country of Bulgaria. In 1999 she came to the U.S. and continued her involvement in the dog training world first as the apprentice of a LA dog trainer and later in 2002 in the opening of her first dog training school in IL. By 2006 Gabriela had created three dog training schools, one in IL ("Top Dog Training") and two in FL ("Trinity Dog Training" & "Complete K-9 Academy"). Each school quickly grew in popularity thanks to Gaby's love for working with problem dogs and her talent for communicating that knowledge to their owners.

She refers to her training method as a balanced one, offering both positive and negative reinforcement to the dog...

"With majority of my clients' dogs I find no need to use food/bribery during training. In rare occasions I meet dogs with extreme food drive, young puppies or dogs training for competition where precision is important, those are the few isolated cases where I see food training as a great resource. With most dogs I find that physical and verbal praise for a job well done as well as a correction for a mistake, are a very clear and easy to comprehend form of communication. The balance is achieved and the dog is a complete one when he/she willingly offers compliance and enjoys doing so for his/her handler."

Gabriela operates Complete K-9 Academy out of her training facility and home in Myakka City, Florida. Along with training on site she also offers In Home dog and owner training service and the popular Boot Camp program.
When not in lessons on site or working with her Boot Camp students Gaby travels all over SW Florida (covering Manatee Co., Sarasota Co, Hillsborough Co., Pinellas Co, Charlotte Co. and occasionally Pasco Co., Lee Co. and Collier Co.) for Evaluations, In Home lessons and Boot Camp follow ups. Accompanying her are Kaiser - a male Doberman Pinscher and Kaya - a female Doberman Pinscher who work for the school as demo dogs and serve as distractions during lessons.

Gaby's years of experience in canine psychology and real world approach to problem solving have made Complete K-9 Academy one of the best Private Dog Training Schools in America.

Rick Clift

In 2006 Gabriela had to move from the Trinity (New Port Richey) area to Fort Myers, FL. Trinity Dog Training was then sold to one of her best and very gifted clients - Rick Clift. Prior to taking ownership of Trinity Dog Training, Rick received extensive training and instruction from Gaby and ever since then they've maintained a close professional bond. Rick had successfully trained and rehabilitated hundreds of dogs all over the Tampa Bay area since taking ownership of Trinity Dog Training and had become a well-known expert in the community.
The school was owned and operated by Rick from 2006 - 2010.

In 2010, Rick moved to Massachusetts, NE and opened his own dog training school, South Coast Canine.

Gaby purchased Trinity Dog Training back from Rick and merged it with Complete K-9 Academy, Inc.
